Chronic wasting disease detected in Idaho for first time

Chronic wasting disease (CWD), which is "a contagious and fatal neurological disorder", has been detected in Idaho for the first time in their deer population. Through the states CWD monitoring program, hunters can voluntarily submit lymph nodes to test deer they have shot while hunting. Read more on this story by clicking the blue box.
