This information is current as of 0930hrs EST, 2 February 2020.  In China, the number of newly infected people has stabilized.  There have been 908 deaths in China with 40,171 infected people and 187,518 are under observation.  In Japan, 60 more people have tested positive on a cruise ship quarantined.  On the cruise ship, 130 out of 3,700 passengers are infected.
