Gene Editing Serum with Heart Disease Prevention Tested in Monkeys


Doctors from Verve Therapeutics, a biotech company, injected a serum into monkeys with the abilities to shut off genes responsible for creating cholesterol and triglyceride fats. Heart disease and fatal heart attacks could be "cured" if this serum is created to accomplish the same in humans.
