South Korea confirmed a second case of African swine fever at a pig farm in Yeoncheon near the border with North Korea. This confirmation comes one day after reporting its first-ever outbreak of the virus. North Korea reported its first case of African swine fever in late May.

A senior official for the Bulgarian food safety authority has reported that another industrial pig farm with over 40,000 pigs is experiencing an outbreak of African swine fever.
